Rifle Grenade Cartridges H84

Picked this up from eBay a complete tin with packaging for 120 7.62mm rifle grenade blanks. All of the cardboard boxes are dated 31.12.83 as is the reference on the tin - on the underside though it’s stencilled with a large RG84 in white - clearly didn’t make its way out of the filling station on the last day in 1983.

Nice to see the complete ensemble. Ship at label indicates Navy issue so guessing they were use for line throwers.

Yes - Energas and L2’s with adapter had long been retired, so for line throwing duties. Also meant to mention Kynoch production cartridges but packed by Radway Green.

Anyone seen a headstamp later than 1983 on any British issue 7.62mm grenade blanks?
