Russian 5DM projectile BD fuze

Does anyone have a 5DM base detonating fuze they can take pictures and measurements of?

The information we have is very vague on on this fuze and we are writting the EOD publication on it.

It is used (by my database) in the F-674 series of 280-MM HE projectiles.

As it is ... it seems as if this is a mystery fuze then?

In my opinion not mystery, but really rare fuze. As well the projectiles.

Is this possibly what you are looking after?
According to Finnish WW2 ordnance manual this fuze was used for 9" and 11" heavy coastal mortars model 1877. If still used in Vietnam it was quite a long career.

really rare it seems ... Thanks for the Finnish information. At least I now have measurements. I wish someone had one of these. I would like to see it for real.

This is quite a fuze - it weights almost 3 kilos!
