The M60A2, which was relatively short-lived, was equipped with the 152mm main gun compatible with the Shillelagh. The "A2" was also converted to an engineering vehicle, to include bridge-laying, etc. I guess the absence of the longer 105mm barrel was a plus in those roles. I had heard years ago that the tank environment was not kind to the missile components, leading to a very short service life.
