Her is a slightly unusal fuze photographed at Beltring several years ago

is this the one used on the bombenminen 1000 ,which would if dropped into the sea ,arm the mine or if dropped onto a hard target act as an instantaeneous fuze
 
Have you any more pics of this `56`?,
or pics of the `bombenminen` mentioned earlier?

Hi waff
The bottom part is made of Bakelite, the normal gaine screws into this part, like a normal fuze.

I could do with a few tips on `crud` removal and general cleaning techniques.
