Vietnam, 1967. Based on true events.
Before I proceed, I want to say that this movie will become one of the best Vietnam War movies ever.
So, 1967, New York City https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10268488/. A guy decides to "travel" to Vietnam to bring beer to his buddies in order to say "Thank you for your service". Bad idea, ain't it? Pretty much everybody thinks so. But he does it anyhow. In Vietnam he is mistaken for a spook, and things are starting to spin out of control.
This is a monumental piece of cinematographic art, with Bill Murray and Russell Crow.
Still not convinced? Want to see a giant centipede?
