The Somme in summer.

Hello,

If you need details :

-1 : fired French HE 155mm model 1915
-2 : unfired German 7.7cm
-3 : fired British HE 4.5in
-4 : unfired German 7.7cm LFKGr
-5 : French HE trench bomb 58T 18Ls

Very common ordnance on ww1 battlefields.

Nasty looking things aren't they?

It will take many more years to finally clear all the UXB's from these fields in France and Belgium.

Just hope there are no more "accidents" with people taking them home... :stupid:
