No time to write at the moment, But the days results are, 18 pr lamp (can you avoid these - not over here!) 2 Becker 20mm rounds, 2 x 50 cal of a type I am unfamiliar with, drill examples ? Case is 80mm in length. What are these, Fabulous 1891 fuze box, remains of a Picklhaube. What I guess is a 2pr AT gun case in great condition for the date, very difficult to find here, now to find a projectile to match.

I would be glad to find out about the two 50 cals, are tey a Vikers type and are they correct as they are, a strip of the bullet sheathe has been removed on both on two sides ?

I would love to see how the No. 7 fuzes were packed inside the box. John

Greetings .........Yes Vickers .5 inch HMG (12.7x81 x18.3).. Italy and Japan used a semi-rimmed version (12.7x81SR x19.6) .. Not normal that the projectiles are sliced like that

Cracking box, Like the 2pr with original stencils and the 50's are .5 Vickers but not sure about the heads being filed, one for Tony E?

Unfortunately the buggers used all the fuzes, but it seems there were 5 per tin. I don't actually know what the fuze is like. Also got this old photo, I guess 1890s with Rifled Muzzel Loading 9 pdrs. on Winter Sleds.

Attached is the British royal Laboratory No. 7 Percussion Fuze. Regards, John

# 7 fuze. Not very big, hence the small size of the box compared to others for small arm ammunition. I imagine standard for the 9 pdr. RML then, which was the main gun in use here at this time.

Yes the No. 7 was used in the RML 9 pdr copper studded Woolwhich system. Armstrong's EOC also manufactured it. I think I posted this once before. Cheers John
