Just had quick look at this one. about 6.5cm diameter and around 20cm long. Arabic/Persian numerals on the fuze and same on prjectile base. Thinking 6.5cm field gun 1906 (french), in use by Ottoman Turkey. Gun picture from Army-Navy Park, Cannakale. Projectile in Brisbane. Any reference/drawings? Pete

Are you sure about the 65 mm diameter? It looks like a normal 75 shrapnell shell for Krupp mountain guns. If I am right, it should have 28 grooves.

measured diameter of the body is ~63.5mm measured groove to groove on the driving band is cloase to 65mm as you can get. Projectile length (Base to adapter ring) is 151mm. Nose adapter ring is 7mm wide, Time fuze is 44mm high. so overall length is 202mm. Driving band is 9mm wide . DB rear edge is 31mm from projectile base
