Hello all,
a friend send me a query to identify and badly I can't answer positively on his question.
He is in possession of two completely inert 57mm shells. These two shells have the same dimensions, caliber 57mm and length of 193mm.
No top fuzes, no base fuzes, no tracer place, apparently solid shots completely inert.
Distance from bottom to driving band is 40mm for the first one and 34mm for the second one.
The shell with the three driving bands let see a cold marking on the middle band, a P (see pictures).
Can you help me to identify this two shells ? Thanks
Yoda
