Unknown Flare ?

Can anyone ID this ? Measures 12.75" x 1.25" & , I assume , some sort of German flare or similar . Thanks!

Just bumping this thread again as I'm sure somebody will recognise it . One of the printed marks at the start of the label is "Rauchne" .Thanks.

Not my field but the nearest I can find on Google translate is "Smoking" so maybe a smoke candle of some sort ? I'm sure one of our German speaking members can elaborate on this. There are similar items to this in D. Mitev's book, Vol 2, and all are smoke producing.

Today I got these info. The flare is named "Rauchnotzeichen".
