I have this unknown fuze bought as a Neuman Z 61/72 impact fuze but I cannot find a reference to it.
The stop in the body is odd and the top must screw down into the shell nose. The striker pin slides /rattles inside the body so must be assembled from the base whitch does not unscrew now. Dimensions are as follows.
67.5mm long.
18.2mm base.
22.5mm band at stud.
24.5mm across left hand threads.
30mm at top and 14.5mm cap.

Any ID on this possibly pre 1900 fuze is welcome.

Cheers,

Yes that seems to be my fuze.Is it 1873 for 12cm & 15cm HE projectiles. My German is very poor but thanks for the reply.Thanks.

There are three pin sizes. I'm gessing there is at least a third caliber in addition to 12 and 15cm. Most probably 8,7cm and/or 9cm.
