Can someone ID this fuze? Possibly provide information on it?

Dia: 31-MM
Length: 87-MM
Exposed Length: 20-MM

Possibly French is what I have been told.

Hello,
24-31mm Mle 16 BT (24mmx31mm modèle 1916 "Bréviaire" de tranchée = 24/31 model 1916 "BREVIAIRE" for trench projectiles, 58 T séries, VD, 240mm, etc).
Not very common during ww1. Also used during ww2 : German nomenclatue AZ 233 (f)
