Unknown monogram

HI. In the photo before the 7/40 date you can see W. Is this the factory monogram? Which one is it? Thanks for your help

Are the markings repeated elsewhere on the box?

'W' would indicate Woolwich, but 25PR BE Smoke is not something that I would associate with them.
