Which period do you think this mills is from

I have had this example in the collection for a long time, i was thinking its a No36 Mk1 but i just cannot be sure, there's no date on any of the parts but I'm sure its right in its own respect, please could all you mills collectors put your thoughts about this example of what date you would think its from.

I would also say WW1 Dave but Tom would probably be able to confirm this.

Dave - a good example of, as others have already said, a WWI No.36 MkI.

The solid red paint filling band and base plug markings are for a standard (i.e. non-Mesopotamia) MkI, and the style of cup of the unmarked aluminium centre piece is classic WWI No.36 (and No.23 MkIII). The filler screw looks to be steel, which was used as an alternative to the more commonly seen brass.
