This film is to WWII Holocaust what "Titanic" is to maritime disasters. It even employs similar present-to-past segues. Vienna, Anschluss, Los Angeles, Klimt, US Supreme Court, everything is moving fast with the help of an excellent cast.
Quote from the movie:
An American office clerk holding a legal deposition against the Republic of Austria: "I want to go to Austria one day with my daughter. She loves kangaroos."

P.S. This is a true event at NYC's JFK Airport, told me by a friend, he saw a bunch of American high school teenagers getting ready to board a plane indicating a flight to Paris. He said to them: "You must be very excited to go to France." They replied: "We are not going to France. We are going to Paris"
