I picked up this shell (no powder) the other day and was wondering if anyone was wondering if anyone was interested in buying it?
stamped on the copper band is "DRIGGS PATENT FFR?? 1892" after the ffr i cant really make out the other two letters/numbers they look like PS maybe P8
i dont really know. but below that on the copper band it says "MFG. BY THE Wm CRAMP & SONS S & E.B.Co."
ON THE HEAD STAMP IT SAYS "UMC Co. BRIDGEPORT, CONN. U.S.A. DRIGGS ORDINANCE Co. 1-94
i cannot get the projectile out of the case. i think someone might have glued it together.
