Hi all,

Can anyone help me to identify this fuse.
It's a french Schneider but internal mecanism is different of those I've seen. Perhaps an early variant ?

It's Schneider type A 1644 B used also on 3 in & 104 mm Russian shell
Used on 75 mm french chemical shell

Hi Doctor,

Many thanks for the answer.

Yes, it's a A1644B but I thought the internal mecanism was different.
Do you have a drawing of that fuse ?
I'm interested for seen.

My fuse is it instantaneous or short delay (0.05 seconds) ?
I think instantaneous...

The system is not the same like your drawing
Sure it's schneider for 7,62 russian gaz shell
there are two spring (not three) and one is beetween the pellet and the needle.

Hi Doctor,

Sorry for the delay in replying and many thanks.
I Found this drawing in a french book about gaz shells, I think it's my fuse.
