WW2 Home Guard Grenade

Fragman

Hi, These Home guard grenades were made in New Zealand during WW2. I know of five that have stood the test of time and a few years back I was lucky enough to have three of them in the same place at the same time. What is remarkable about these "homemade" grenades is that when you compare them side by side they are identical and obviously produced in a production line. Ive attached an article from the NZ Antique Arms Gazette that was written by a person that was part of that production team. The one I have in my collection is the one mentioned at auction in the article. Hopefully it will be readable after posting. If not I will post the pages separately. Cheers
