Here is a little something that I am working on having shipped to me. There are a few more available; anyone interested in adding one to their collection? How hard are these to find in Europe? Does anyone have a spare kl AZ 40 Nb fuse for it? Thanks to my good friends here supplying the D 435-1 German Ordnance handbook. With this document, I was able to identify it. I already have a 6350 brass case waiting for it. It is the the s FH 18 150mm gun.

There was also a 15 cm J Gr 39 Hl/A for the 15 cm s JG 33. It has a narrower driving band of about 11 mm (.45"). On the photo's on the left the 15 cm Gr 39 Hl/A and on the right the 15 cm J Gr 39 Hl/A.
Furthermore there was a 15,5 cm Gr 39 Hl/A for the 15,5 cm Kanone 416 (f) -frz L 17 S- , which looks very similar. All equipped with the kl AZ 40 Nb.

Are you sure that was HEAT projectile? Ive never seen HEAT projectile for 15cm K.18 and K.39 (15cm guns with projectiles with 2 driving bands).

This is not HEAT projectile, it's 15cm Gr.19 Be (anti-concrete).

For the 15 cm s FH 18 there were also projectiles with 2 KPS driving bands (width of the bands 12 mm), so it is possible.

Yes, but no I can't find any german sources with 2 driving band HEAT (also no photos).

Excelent display, now You should look for a fuze without delay, kl AZ 40 Nb - aluminum or Presßstoff variant

Thank you Bob. I am looking for one, but I have yet to even see the proper fuse anywhere. I used a kl AZ 23 to fill the hole for now.
