Unknown shell cases, possibly from Romania

The Romanian 10 cm M34 is a Skoda design, the case measures 100x241R115. I have a original manual and posted copies of the original manual on this forum. The case I also know as German steel made case.

As for the 47x343R66.5: French M1936 may be the designation, especially since I know there also exist French cases with these dimensions. As for the list of Tony, I would not be surprised if the measurements came from this forum ;-).

Hoeksel, were can I locate your data on the 10cm M34 on this forum, does it give specifications about the gun itself? I know little about the weapon and I cannot find anything only the stats for the 10cm 14/19.

If is funny that both the Romanian 10cm M34 and the Hungarian 10cm aM are both linked to the 10cm M14/19, which by all accounts was a different weapon.

The French did have three 47mm guns, but I think that they would have all used the same rounds.
47mm SA-34 (AFV)
47mm SA-35 (AFV)
47mm SA-37 (ATG)

Hoeksel, it only shows the ammunition stats, do you have anything in regards to carriage, weight, length, elevation etc.

Hi, my Romanian is a bit rusty but besides the ordnance related material I already posted, most content is firing tables. I quickly made pictures with my phone from the pages you may like.

No I cannot work it out, but it is so difficult even with google translate to fathom out the main specifications, this is what I manage to get so far;

Elevation: -5° to +70°
Traverse: 50°

Barrel Length: 2.500mm (L/25)

I cannot locate the following;
Overall Length:
Height:
Width:
Muzzle Velocity:
Weight in Traction:
Weight in Action:

Hi Hoeksel:
The Romanians used three main 75mm field guns;

75mm M1902/36 (ex-Russian)
75mm M1897 (French)
75mm M1928 (Czech)

So would they all fire the 75x350R round or would each have a different shell size, which would make it a logistical nightmare.

To make things worst they also had the Resita which also fired a 75mm round (which apparently has no data) and two Skoda mountain guns with shells of 75x212R and a Schneider-Putilov M1909 mountain gun again of 75mm calibre but which I have no data on what so ever.

Hi,

These must be different, which is not so strange.Although the caliber is the same, the use can be different (AA, mountain, field). I only have of the 75 mm the 75x350R Romanian cases in my collection for the French M1897. The M1928 would use shell cases of 75x174 cases (I have some Yugoslav cases) and the Russian 75mm M1902/36 I do not know.

Hi Hoeksel, I think that the Russian 76.2mm M1902 used the 76.2x385R, but this would count for nothing if the Romanians re-lined the barrel to 75mm.
The Resita M1943 round is a mystery, it is said that it fired a round similar to both the German Pak 40 and the Vickers 75mm AA, but these are totally different sizes;

75x495R (Vickers)
75x714R (Pak 40)
Would it be this I wonder?
75x639R
