This document appears to be the forerunner of the Joint Services Ammunition and Ammunition Packaging Markings (JSA & APM) that was introduced in about 1960 and was still in use until about 1980. Some of the ammo in this 1949 - 1953 v3ersion was still in use into the 1980s.
