    18pdr Ammunition crates

Hi, I'm looking for the dimensions of 18pdr crates from WW1 like the ones in these photos from the IWM. I believe the ones in the first photo are type C52. Does anyone have information about them or one they could measure? I intend to make some for a model I'm building. Many thanks, Ben

    18pdr without makers marks

This nice little 18pdr was in a large collection we recently acquired. The base of the brass case has no marks anywhere. Judging by the lack of primer and un-fired condition of the projectile we were thinking either a training round, unfinished production item or maybe just one that got missed...

    Tidy British 18pdr

Picked up this little beauty the other day. This has to be the cleanest 18pdr I have seen in a long while. Not like the usual rusty ground dug ones doing the rounds. I would think this was picked up soon after firing judging by the condition and lack of corrosion.

    Strange WW1 Trench Art

This has to be the strangest item of trench art that we have yet seen in the shop. Its a WW1 18pdr shell made into a sprayer. Not sure if this was a wartime job or maybe some enterprising engineer made this in his shed after the war. Has anyone seen anything like this before ?

    Assembling my new stock

Unpacking my new WW1 stock in the workshop today. All the fuzes were removed for transit. Good job I made notes and labeled each part. Everything you see will be available shortly on my web site.
