I have recently come into possession of the attached article, which is made of canvas and rope.The construction is solid and will easily carry 18pdr shells with room to spare, I did think it may be for the Navy. However I have never seen one of this type. Any help appreciated

2 steel fittings similar to those seen on Mule trunk are missing. These would have been at the top on the back.

Nice New addition L11A2 .50 MG OBSERVING CARRIER AND BOXES . Just picked this Carrier up really nice condition. Carrier is dated 1967 ,The boxes are Dated 1968 ,The INERT .50's are.... 69 L11A2 K....
