Several people got executed, but one, for an unknown reason, was not. A very fine point of balance, revenge or not, guilty or not, collaborator or not. People involved all grew up in the same village and know each other from early childhood. Very realistic filming, many times the camera is placed right behind a walking person, producing a video game like effect.
Disclaimer: This movie is in Russian (not Belorussian as it would be during the War). I don't know if it is Russian, Belorussian or Ukrainian. If I make a mistake, in the past or future, calling a Ukrainian or Belorussian production as Russian, it is not intentional. Sometimes co-productions are difficult to identify. For example, is "Allez France!!!" British or French?
