1-inch Aiming Rifle Bullet - No Cannelures?

I've looked through several Treatise on Ammunition at 1-inch Aiming Rifle Bullets and can't find any that match my example (with the copper cup base), which has NO cannelures. It is fired, see pictures, and there is no evidence of the cannelures being filled by firing. Can anyone throw any light on my example? Depotman.

just had a look through Peter Labbett's book and no sign of a non cannelured lead bullet so is it British 1in AR ? or from some other country that made them?

The only 1 inch projectile I'm aware of is the British Nordenfelt. Anyhow here is one for comparison.

Nice item! This is an early Mk (I or II) for the Nordenfeldt machine gun, but my item is for the 1-inch aiming rifle. Regards, Depotman
