1902 built example of the tiny 10 Pounder mountain gun, used by my great-grandfather's unit - the Argyll Mountain Battery, comprising with the Ross & Cromarty Battery and Bute Mountain Battery, the 4th (Highland) Mountain Brigade, Royal Garrison Artillery (Territorial Force) at Gallipoli as well as Indian Mountain Artillery units, i, before changing for the 2.75 inch mountain gun and later 3.7 inch mountain gun. They were also used in the middle east - some were put on the backs of Talbot motor trucks and used as portees accompanying Lawrence of Arabia
