So.... Here is an attempt at a 10ga Very Flare. Headstamp IFS 10 GA.
The flare is Red:
Felt wad with a hole in it to allow a slow burn of the black powder to the flare component.
Flare element and topwad - After 60+ years you can see the remaining BP stuck to the flare.
