12 Gauge EOD Cartridge

Just acquired a full box of 50 carts 12g EOD Injector RE 12g SHG XL6E1.
Photos attached hopefully.
Used as power cartridge for the Mil/Civ EOD Disruptor Model RE12g.

hi, what you've got there is the early type "super high gas" EOD cart, which was never very good i`m sorry to say. huge amounts of unburnt....
R-95 (high fire type) ignitor, OBP-413 double base propellant.

the later type shg had a machined aluminium case with an integral choke to improve the burn, direct ignition ignitor and single base propellant.

Thanks - they were acquired along with some .50 cal rocket wrench cartridges as no longer being fit for purpose. I have fired some of the 12 Gauge cartridges (not in disruptors) on training courses for SFX technicians.

what were the rocket wrench carts? re68pc?

i forgot to mention the `re12g shg` was meant for water shots, becareful if you fire any other projectile than water, it will cause an overpressure.
