16 Inch Projectile identification

Gidday fellas,

I am trying to positively identify a 16 Inch Naval projectile that is on display on an Australian Naval Base. I think it could be either Royal Navy (from Nelson class battleship) or US Navy (from IOWA class battleship)???
The driving band starts approximately 50mm from the base and the two bands are approximately 60mm wide. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
