Who can help me on a clear description of the build up of a powdercharge in the 17 pdr APDS shellcase.
According to the description I have, the powdercharge runs upward to halfway of the conical part of the neck of the shellcase, and has a cartboard disc on top.
My questions:
-is this a cartboard disc, or a leatherboard cap?
-Is there a pipe shaped cartboard spacer between the disc and the base of the projectile?
