Very nice. Made in Canada. I have acquired two 17 pdr cases in the US recently, and they go for $200 over here.

Made by Dominion Bridge Company, Canada.

Repaired by Woolwich, (Royal Laboratories).

Honest answer is I don't know. In the Great War some categories of cracked necks were repaired, but come WWII with much increased performance, such repairs might have been considered not worth the risk.
