1927 2 Poudner Mark IX AT Gun

Sorry. That should be "1937 2 Pounder" in the title. Editor will not let me change that.

I found another 2 pounder case to add to the collection - Mark 9 vs the normal No. 2. I am currently operating under the assumption that this was the early version designation for the antitank gun. This case seems a bit short. Is it supposed to be shorter or did someone cut it down? Did the early 2 pounder AT guns have a different ammunition type? Thank you for your help.

The three No. 2 cases all measure the proper 304mm for a 2 pdr AT gun. The Mark IX case measures at 292mm.
