Rafail, I've never heard of a 5"/88 cal gun, but I would guess that yours is for a 5IN/38 CAL GUN instead. I've seen plenty of those. Cheers, Bruce.
 
The strange thing, is that they look too tall to be 5 inch 38 Cal cases. They look like 5 inch 54 Cal.
 
a closer inspection gives me the impression that it is more a 38 than an 88... but it is a bit corroded at the spot..

Height is 73cm
