Picked this up yesterday in an antiques centre. The top is not in great condition but the writing is still visible.
I do not know a lot about these so i am sure someone could enlighten me to any details about it as i am not sure.

Any help would be appreciated

To hold the delay capsules for certain aircraft bomb fuzes.
The capsules had an acid or solvent and when broken would then continue the fuzing action.
