My flee market find today.

A rust 2.5 inch Mk 2 RML Mountain Gun projectile from the Anglo - Boer War.

Weight: 3.2 kg

Overall Length: 202 mm

The mouth is 30 mm. the thread goes down for about 40 mm. The thread is tapered.

I think there was remnants of a white band of 20 mm about 15 mm below the mouth. if there was it is now gone with the cleaning.
