2"Mortar manufacturer cut off dates

Came across a nice 2"mortar No2 tail fin at a show the other day but marked FD 1945 with the tail cap 11/44. I have a No4 tail on a para illum dated 10/43, I thought by 1945 with No4s in full swing that the No 2 would be faized out then, any one know when the last No2 tails were last made. What's the latest dates on your No2 tails.

Hi Chris, lots at 1943, but no later. The FD font on the later ones is much bigger than the earlier ones I have. Tig.
