Hi I have got from my friend this tubes. They are for the 2 inch mortar. I dindt seen it before. I know only 3 tubes together.
Can somebody identifi this ones?
Nice set of tubes. These tubes fit in a metal frame with a carrying handle, 3 tubes to a frame, two bombs to a tube, total 6 bombs in a frame. Don't have any pictures but i did have these in my collection when i collected 2"mortar rounds etc, still have one that someone did not give back to me who was selling it for me. This type of container came out 1944-45.
The first picture of the carryers looks wrong as the end caps should be thin like the second picture. The yellow markings are more of post war markings, the tubes that fit in metal carriers. This may be something i have not seen. The second picture is correct, this is the first pattern carrier.
Hi BMG, I agree that the first picture is a mock up of some description, possibly military but more likely to be done by a re-enactor (no offence!), made from late war pattern tubes, and what looks like helmet chin strap springs. The second is dead right.

Radek this is my 2" motar carrier. I think this is the type your tubes are from. The carrier is dated 45 the tubes are later but have been over painted. They also have the longer end caps on like yours. When the tubes are removed from the carrier they are loose as yours are. Hope this helps Cheers Mick.
