I've got a Proof projectile today, and it came in a 20x102 vulcan case.
The projectile is a Proof projectile with tracer cavity, and a copper drive belt. No markings are present.
After examining the projectile more closely, i noticed the crimping groove looks more like those of a 20x110 Hispano than a 20x102 vulcan.
I placed a regular M55 projectile next to the proof round for comparisation. (i don't have a 20x110 projectile to compare)
I also made a picture of a 20x110 hispano case and both projectiles.
The proof round seems to line up with the crimping groove of the 20x110 case; the M55 does not...
So if anyone can help me determine if it's a 20x102 or a 20x110 (and its origin if known) it would be great...
Thanks.
