Hi Pete, Very interesting. I have included a picture (not my stuff) of what I am told are German WWII propellant charges. I do not pretend to know a thing about these but thought to be very interesting.....Dano
With respect to Pete's 25 Pdr charges all filled in Cherrier, Canada. All filled with Cordite WM - a stick (or cord) cordite. In the case of the first charge, the diameter of the stick being 0.017" (seventeen thousandths of an inch). In the case of the other two - 0.061"
