2cm Flak38 Headstamp Query - Single Star

I recently acquired a brass 2cm Flak38 case with a single 5 pointed star head stamp. Can somebody please advise the significance of this single head stamp marking? Nationality/meaning/date etc etc... Images as attached. Thank you!

My first thought is that this is the same 5-pointed star as often used on Polish ammunition up to and including WW2.
