Help !
Does anyone have a drawing of the wartime (Square) rocket fin. Am hoping to aquire a drill 3 inch rocket but it's lacking its fins.
Cheers,
Hangarman
Hello, i have a friend that makes them, i have the same problem, no wings so if you or other people are interested i will have some very good copies. just let me know. Ben
Thanks for the picture. just what the doctor ordered!
Do you know what the square hole is for , just forward of the aft lug? is it a locking bar to secure the fins to the motor ? What colour are the fins / motor painted (1944-45) its difficult to tell from a b&w print.
Thanks in anticipation.
Hangarman
Hi Hangarman ,
Yes the hole is for a sliding pin/key to lock to motor.
from what i've seen the fins were the same colour as the motors ie.dark green.
cheers Bob.
