Got these 303 ? charger clips in a bunch of stuff ,they both had 303 rnds in them so i assume they are for 303.
Any reason why the different styles?,
is it age or manufacturer differences ?
one is stamped on the side B IV with 4 holes in the bottom
The other is stamped GC II with 4 slots in the bottom

Hi spotter
I have a few .303`s with clips.
The stamps are makers initials & MK no (I II III IV)
I top is MKIV
Bottom MKII but no idea as to makers

Chargers

"Chargers" please in British service, not clips! Clips go into the weapon as an integral part of the magazine, as in Garands and mannlichers.

The Mark IV with a "B" is Birmingham Metals and Munitions Ltd.

Marks I to IV shown in pictures. The Mark V was never introduced, but was a copy of the Russian Moisin Nagant charger dimensioned for the .303.
