303 Kynoch Adaptor

Adaptors
There was only one Kynoch adaptor which was their patent, but there were numerous other adaptors for the .303 service rifle.
Some used special cartridges, others used .22 rounds in steel "conveyors" shaped like a normal .303 round.

A highly contentious question Tim.
If one takes it to an extreme, it is a short smooth bored chambered barrel and therefore Section 5, but I find it hard to imagine a prosecution based on that.
A more difficult issue is the adaptor for the Boys rifle which is not only chambered but is rifled, so is again Section 5.
I would like to have a definitive answer myself.
