I believe this is the round used by the A-10 Warthog.

The case is correct for the 30x173 GAU-8/A as used in the A-10 Warthog. The projectile though is for the 30x112B of the M230 chain gun as used in the AH-64 Apache.

Thanks EOD,Ithought the proj. looked a bit short, I made up a wooden dummy until I can find a real one.I only paid $25 for both cases and the proj. So i`m happy.
