31-12-72 RG .303 H83Mk1 ammunition tin

Here is a 1968 H83 Mk1 tin that originally held Radway Green produced .303 Mk.7Z in cartons.
Dated 31st December 1972, this is very late Radway Green production, as I believe they ceased production of .303 in 1973.

What does the BMD, PMD, RMD? 1972 stencil signify?
