This rotating band-less projectile is devoid of any markings.

The projectile is 3-1/8" long.

Looks similar to specimens found in Gspragge's guide, but lacks the grove for case crimping.

With no band, I would have to have it in my hand and compare it with the ones in my collection. they changed type almost yearly, were made by many companies. It is a solid shot, which makes it less common.The shape of the band would give more clues, US rounds usually have a single wide band in later versions.
