Hello,
I want share with you this italian oddity
as you can see shell was a french mod 1888 modified infuze hole and base;
here close to mod 88

fuze is very similar to the one used on FIAT 25,4mm HE shell

Internal stucture completely different with twin security ( 25,4mm FIAT is the right one)

last element the base, completely new built and with alluminium cylinder screwd in, this system was used on other itlaian shell loaded with ballistite for hold detonator;
in this pic close to 70/15 mod 1902 HE shell detonator holder

No info on this item, maybe never reach the mass production, could be a only a prototype.

Interesting modified shell.
As you are a good specialist of Italian ordnance, I really can't help you.
However the fuze looks like the same as the one used on this Italian 25mm (see pictures from a previous post).

French used as well a modified 37mm model 1888 with sensitive fuze and a tracer.
