37x224mm M17 T2

I recently picked up this 37x224mm M17 case with an experimental T2 HE projectile. The T2 projectile is what lead up to the M55. The projectile is not dated, but I assume it is 1940. The case is not dated either. The only identifying marks on the case are 2 pair of crossed canons on the base. Does anyone have any information on the case?

Wow, what a lovely round, not jealous at all :) can't help you at all with the info but wish I had that in my collection.

Thanks Weasle. I have another neat round I'm going to pop on here soon. I've started 3 posts today and it takes forever on my DSL. It's time to go play!
