HI, I was given some items to put on ebay for an elderly friend, and would like some help identifying/valuing one of the items. I don't expect it to be of high value but would like to get the best price and any info for him I can.
It stands 418mm tall and the base is 115mm wide. It is in good shape with no dents.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Your case is for the U.K. 3 inch 20cwt antiaircraft gun. During WWII the same case was used in the 77mm tank gun in the comet tank. If you key in 20cwt in the search function of this site you can find the following posts with more info and photos along with some other info:

You might want to sell it in the "For Sale" section of BOCN, since a number of our members are most likely needing one.
