I have two N3 Bofors Drill rounds but yours looks too long for a clearing blank Drill.
One of mine is full length with a knurled rim Australian 1956.
The other is an 8 lobed crimped mouth sealed with lead. 310mm long.
My proper clearing blank is 253mm case length. I think I posted the photo on a previous thread.
I will take the photo of my N3 rounds in the morning. Cheers and all comments are welcome. Ron.

My crimped Drill/Blank is the same as yours with minor variations. Drill stamp is curved and 1946 case used.
The mouth has a lead plug inside to perhaps keep it in shape. Full length case. Are all N3 Drill rounds star crimped ? Does your one have a lead plug ?
I am mistaken with the Australian Drill. It is a Mk3 not a N3. Still a nice Drill round.
